BLUETTI Elite 300
A large box for long outages. It keeps a fridge, Wi-Fi and phones going for about 17 hours. At 58 lb, plan on two hands or two people.
- 3,014 Wh
- Watt-hours: how much it holds
- 2,400 W
- Watts: how fast it gives power
- Checking
- Surge: a short burst for start-ups
- 58 lb
- Weight: how heavy to carry
How long it runs your things
Estimates. Your devices may use more or less. One thing at a time, from a full box. We keep 85% of the watt-hours, because some power is lost on the way out.
What we think
The Elite 300 is a large box. It holds about 3,014 watt-hours. Watt-hours are how much power a box holds. It gives up to 2,400 watts. Watts are how fast something uses power.
What that means in an outage
By our math, counting a fridge at 120 watts, Wi-Fi at 15 and phones at 20:
- Fridge, Wi-Fi and phones: about 17 hours.
- Fridge alone: about 21 hours.
- CPAP: about 64 hours, by our math, for a CPAP that uses about 40 watts with the humidifier off or low. Check the watts on your own machine.
- A space heater that uses 1,500 watts: about 1.7 hours.
These are estimates. Your devices may use more or less.
About surge
Surge is a short burst some things need to start. BLUETTI's spec table shows 4,800 watts twice: once as surge and once as a mode called Power Lifting. BLUETTI says Power Lifting is only for heating things. Because the two numbers are the same, we do not publish 4,800 as surge. That line says We're checking.
Why this one and not the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3
The reason is weight. This box weighs 58 pounds; the DELTA Pro 3 weighs 113.5. You give up size and watts for that. This box holds 3,014 watt-hours and gives 2,400 watts. The DELTA Pro 3 holds 4,096 and gives 4,000.
Next to the Elite 200 V2, this box holds 3,014 watt-hours against 2,073, and weighs 58 pounds against 53.4.
Moving it and charging it
58 pounds is about seven gallons of water. Use two hands, or two people on stairs. BLUETTI says it fills from the wall in 2 hours.
The limit
BLUETTI says it has no expansion port, so you cannot add battery later. EcoFlow says the DELTA Pro 3 takes two extra batteries.
Bottom line: a large box for a long night of fridge and Wi-Fi that two hands can still lift.
Good for
Outages that last a night and the next morning. By our math it runs a fridge alone for about 21 hours.
Not for
Anyone who has to carry the box far, or who wants to add a battery later.
