How long it runs your things
Estimates. Your devices may use more or less. One thing at a time, from a full box. We keep 85% of the watt-hours, because some power is lost on the way out.
What we think
The Elite 200 V2 is a large box. It holds about 2,073 watt-hours. Watt-hours are how much power a box holds. It gives up to 2,600 watts. Watts are how fast something uses power.
What that means in an outage
By our math, counting a fridge at 120 watts, Wi-Fi at 15 and phones at 20:
- Fridge, Wi-Fi and phones: about 11 hours.
- Fridge alone: about 15 hours.
- CPAP: about 44 hours, by our math, for a CPAP that uses about 40 watts with the humidifier off or low. Check the watts on your own machine.
- A space heater that uses 1,500 watts: about 1.2 hours.
These are estimates. Your devices may use more or less.
About surge
Surge is a short burst some things need to start. BLUETTI does not publish a surge number for this box, so that line says We're checking. BLUETTI lists a mode called Power Lifting for heating things up to 3,900 watts. Its manual says the real output is still 2,600 watts. That is not surge.
Why this one and not the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2
This box gives 2,600 watts; the C2000 Gen 2 gives 2,400. They hold about the same: 2,073 watt-hours here, 2,048 there. This box weighs 53.4 pounds; the Anker weighs 41.7. BLUETTI says this box is not expandable; Anker says the C2000 Gen 2 takes one extra battery. If you move the box often, we would pick the Anker.
Moving it and charging it
53.4 pounds is a bit more than six gallons of water. Lift it with two hands. BLUETTI's page says it charges to 80% in about 1.1 hours from the wall. Its manual says full in 1.4 hours.
What we're checking
The surge number, and how many wall-style outlets it has. BLUETTI lists the size as 2,073.6 watt-hours; we round down.
Bottom line: a large box for one night of fridge and Wi-Fi that stays in one spot.
Good for
Outages that last through the night, and people who want to run one big thing at a time.
Not for
Anyone who has to move the box often. It weighs 53.4 lb; the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 weighs 41.7 lb.
